LashMuse (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our app handles information when you use LashMuse on iPhone or iPad.

1. Overview

LashMuse lets you preview virtual eyelash styles using your camera or photos you choose from your photo library. Our app is designed so that image processing happens on your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos, camera frames, or edited images to our servers as part of the core app experience.

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing profiling, or cross-app tracking.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Camera and Photo Access

LashMuse may request permission to:

• access your camera for live eyelash preview;
• access photos you choose from your photo library; and
• save edited images to your photo library when you tap Save.

This access is used only to provide the app’s features on your device.

4. On-Device Processing

LashMuse uses advanced on-device image processing technology to provide the virtual eyelash preview. To achieve this, the app analyzes facial landmarks from the camera feed or selected photos in real-time. No Biometric Identification: This analysis is used solely to position virtual eyelashes and cannot be used to identify a specific individual. Strictly On-Device: All facial data and image analysis are performed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit facial data to our servers or any third parties. Transient Usage: The facial landmark data is processed in volatile memory (RAM) only during the active session and is not saved to permanent storage.

5. Sharing and Saving

If you choose to share an edited image, LashMuse passes the image to Apple’s system share sheet and the app or service you select. Any third-party app or service you choose to use is governed by that third party’s own privacy policy.

If you choose to save an edited image, the image is saved to your photo library on your device.

6. In-App Purchases

LashMuse may offer premium features through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Payment transactions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.

Apple may process transaction-related information according to Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.

7. Third-Party Code and Apple Frameworks

LashMuse uses platform frameworks and libraries needed to provide app features, such as camera access, photo selection, and in-app purchases. Based on the current version of the app, we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

8. Data Retention

Because we do not collect your photos or camera content on our servers, we do not retain that content remotely as part of the app’s normal operation.

Images you save remain in your photo library until you delete them.

9. Children’s Privacy

LashMuse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your Choices

You can manage camera and photo permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

You can also delete saved images from your photo library at any time.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page.
